Los tres cócteles de Gato Negro × Condesa Gin en la barra, con el gato de neón al fondo

Gato Negro × Condesa Gin: three cocktails leaving Mexico

Nobody pitched us. We liked the gin, we liked the brand, and we wanted to work with it. Condesa is a Mexican gin, and it has two expressions we wanted to use separately: the classic one, and the prickly pear and orange blossom one. We built three cocktails with them.

Three routes, one starting point

Every drink leaves Mexico and lands somewhere else. The trip is the name of the cocktail. The menu is a boarding pass, with the cat as the passenger.

And there is a second part

Condesa is helping us bring Sips to Valencia. On 16 October, two bartenders from the bar that was named the world’s best in 2023 work our counter for one night. This collaboration is part of how we make that happen. We wrote about it here: Sips at Gato Negro, 16 October.

How long it runs

The three cocktails are on the bar right now. It is a limited-time collaboration with no closing date announced, so a few weeks. If you want to make all three trips, come early.

Carrer de Císcar 26, bajo izq., Valencia. Open Wednesday to Monday from 19:00; closed on Tuesdays. Book a table.
